For those of you who read this, here are some things to really be praying for this year and as the freshmen move in:
- That everyone, not simply the freshmen, would feel welcomed and accepted and loved by the other dudes on the floor
- That this year wouldn't just be "another year", but a year in which we can challenge each other and grow together in Christ
- That it wouldn't be me or Brad that appears the most, but God
There are obviously tons of other things that I could ask for prayer for, but I really would appreciate things just as general as this as the time passes while we live life together here in the dorms. I almost can't contain the joy that I have in taking part in this experience. God has seriously blessed me so much just by putting a man like me in this position. While I am so inadequate, God is beyond capable of accomplishing His work this year. Pray especially that God will just be the center of all we do. I pray that this selection of "The Breastplate of St. Patrick" will mark our floor this year as we go:
Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right,
Christ on my life, Christ in breadth, Christ in length,
Christ in height, Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of every man who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me.
My name is Andrew Lehr, and I want to die tired.

Hey.
Be encouraged. You are going to do great this year. You aren't the kind of person who takes the cake (on purpose), and your humility will out. Get ready for a great year, and as cheesy or stereotypical this is, I truly believe God will move you into the position HE wants you to be in.
So many have experiences that mark special times in their lives. We have had many in ours. Times that may seem defeating, some that may be encouraging and some that we still look back on in awe. I pray that this year God will provide you many wonderful experiences that will always hold special memories in your life. I know that you will be a blessing and more importantly a brother in Christ to many. May the Lord continue to watch over you and inspire you to achieve great things.
